Those who say heartbreak is just an emotion

Must have never experienced

The knot that gets tighter in the chest

Invisible cracks that appear on the skin

Ripping pain that tears apart every cell

The closed throat that doesn’t allow to breathe

Mindless melancholy that grips every moment

They certainly don’t know what goes into

Seeing the pieces fall one by one
